Day three

We had a peace full breakfast. Eero and Kari had to go home for a while but they told to join us later.

We flew to Helsinki to collect our German friend Heinz.

We landed to Karhusaari Marina Sipoo. A bit difficult place to visit. However a superb service. We recommend that marina to everybody. This is the way how customers like them to be helped.

Plan was to go on Helsinki West and document the light houses onwards. But change was inevitable again. Thunder storms were generating just west of Helsinki. We decided to go around Helsinki from the north side where sky seemed nicer. However near Vihtijärvi the thunder was quiker and we returned to nice caning area of Tuusula. From there we had our third online “Radio Suomi” broadcasting 17:10 Sunday.

Waited few hours. Radio transmit allured a few newspaper reporters and we made some interviews.

Half past eight in the evening we took off and via Sipoo we finally arrived on sea again South of Helsinki.

First in shooting line naturally was the castle of Finland. Then we headed more south, asked permission to enter ADIZ zone for Helsinki lighthouse.

Then Rönnskär next and followed one of the oldest lighthouses Porkkala.

It is indeed a bit strange to have a look in the middle of nowhere to see almost a churchlike building on a low rock hardly bigger than the base of the building.

Jussarö shined beautiful at the evening reddish sunset. Then we flew over the Archbelago Tvärminne. Possibly the most beautiful place on earth.

Finallly we arrived to Hauho. Flew over the biggest free harbor Finland to the destination Camping beach of Hauho. Two planes were waiting us already. Rans S-6 Hannu Tuokko and the beautiful Finnish amphibian ATOL owned by Heikki Isotalo.

A lot of interest was around our planes on the beach. We even offered some members of group from Restaurant Papa Giovanni ( Helsinki) test runs so they could tell others about the feelings we have all the time. Hope we can taste some AlaCarte of their superb restaurant when we meet the next time.

Trips had well met our expectations. Meaning experiencing planning on spot and enjoying the concept in good company. Join us. Come and fly the license and lets make this new hobby stronger and stronger. It surely is worth it.
